描述：Vero細(xì)胞株是日本千葉大學(xué)的Y. Yasumura和Y. Kawakita從正常成年非洲綠猴的腎臟建株的。1964年6月15日B. Simizu將其從千葉大學(xué)帶到國(guó)立健康研究所(NIH)國(guó)立過(guò)敏及傳染病研究所熱帶病毒實(shí)驗(yàn)室時(shí)，已傳至第93代。
